Configuring LDAP and Workgroup Manager

Hi all,

I have tried configuring LDAP and Workgroup Manager with no success in
Panther 10.3.2. I'm trying to setup my users so that clients can log in to
any client computer with a user created on the server and have the
user's home directory/profile show up on the client. I created a user in Workgroup Manager and set the Users directory as the share to mount the user's home directory. My problem is, I can log in with the user's password
but the user's directory (/Network/Servers/ServerIp/Users) doesn't mount?

Does anyone have any experience or can point me to any documentation
on setting up user home directories which can be assessible through the
network?

Well I've been successful with this. Make sure you have set up the server as an Open Directory Master. I would reccommend that you turn on the DHCP Server on the server and hand out the LDAP directory information. Configure directory access on the client to use only LDAPv3 and have it use DHCP to find the information. If you don't use DHCP you have to configure your own LDAP Server in Directory access.

Are you getting any errors when you log in as the networked users?

Does it mount anything?
