Hey all,
Check this out. From the Finder:Go:Connect to Server menu, under normal operation i can see only AppleShare volumes on my network. When i boot up in Safe mode (holding the shift key down) and select Finder:Go:Connect, i can see everything on my network.. Appleshare machines AND SMB sharing machines.. I can double click on the SMB machine log in and is great... but only in Safe Mode.
What in the world would be going on here? Why, when i boot up normally would i not be able to see SMB sharing machines?? Is there a preferences file i need to blow away to get setting to reset on normal startup?
I am on a private Ethernet 192.168.X.X network with all of these machines so I am not trying to share things over the Internet.
Anyway, any help would be appreciated.
