Hi,
I have a G5 (2x2) old model and i want to connect a TV
as a second monitor on my monitor card. I have two
monitor outputs on my monitor card. See thumbnail for a picture of the card. The left one
i use for my computermonitor and i'd like to use the right one
for the TV. Is that possible and if so, how?

You'll need two adapters to do it, unless you can find an ADC to S-Video adapter (I've never seen one, only seen DVI to S-Video). I wouldn't expect to find one, if you did it probably wouldn't be any cheaper than buying the 2 below to do the same thing. On the plus side you would have the ability to connect another DVI based monitor when you weren't using the TV if you wanted to.

ADC to DVI adapter: $29 (( http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore?productLearnMore=T2774G/A ))

DVI to S-Video adapter: $19 (( http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore?productLearnMore=M9267G/A ))

Whoa..that many convertors might cripple the quality of the tv out put......

What kind of tv is it..Is it a HDTV if it is just get the ADC to DVI....Generally all hdtv's have DVI

Won't make a big difference on quality really...it'll still be a better signal than what the TV is capable of displaying (unless it's HD that is). If he's lucky enough to have a DVI port on his TV (only about 30% or 40% do, most give only a HDMI port), that would be a good option.
