Connecting a speedtouchUSB-ADSL modem/MacOs10.2

I can't get it working! When trying to install the driver and modem. (before configering MacOs 10.2) the 'speedtouchUSB-ADSL modem still doesn't appear in the network-list. Please give this 'dum ass' some advise!!!

My DSL modem is connected via Ethernet. Have you checked your Network Panel. That's where the TCP/IP settings are.

Forgive me for not understanding, but you talk about configuring Mac OS X 10.2. Are you trying to connect and configure your ADSL modem in OS X or are you trying it in an earlier Mac OS?
