Connecting to intenet. Why can't I?

I can't seem to connect to the internet. Actually, I can't actually connect...no seem about it. What's wrong? Am on Earthlink.net but keep getting message: authorization failed. What's up. HELP!

Had the same problem this weekend with my OSX install. I had to change to phone # for Earthlink. I'm guessing some of the lines don't support a OSX client yet.
