Converting AC3 to aiff

I am trying to convert an AC3 file to aiff so that I can use DVD audio in Final Cut Pro but mAC3dec which I have seen constantly recommended to do so isn't working. I am on a OS X 10.5.2. Could that be why it isn't downloading properly? I really need this audio converted. How can I do it?

It's PPC and I don't know how it'd go in Leo but surely worth a try

Thanks a lot!! That did actually work, I was able to convert it, but it only did about 60% of the movie and the rest is silent. Does that mean that it's protected? Is there any way around that?
