converting quark + word files to jpeg

I have some old files in Quark 4.0 [PAUSE FOR LAUHGTER AT MY ANTIQUATED SOFTWARE] and some Word files. How can I convert these to Jpegs?

In Quark you can choose: File >> save as EPS
Then you can open these files in for example Photoshop and from here save them as jpeg's.
