"Cookies not enabled" but they are!

On some sites I am told that I need to enable cookies in my browser so the goods I want to buy can be put in my basket. I have changed security settings to "always" accept cookies, cleared the cache and reset safari to no avail. Please can you advise how I can get my online shopping done!
 
It might be a problem with those sites. It's easy for a web developer to screw up cookie configurations.
