command-shift-4 and then hit space. hot camera action!

I use command-shift-4 all the time. Mostly i perfer to just draw my screen shot box.

hot command, option * (toggles)
then hit command, option + or command, option -

Cool zooming.

command - shift - 3 for screenshot without that camera icon.. eliminates a click

Dime, the extra click is so you can easily make a screenshot of one window, lets say a Safari window, without all of the other stuff around it. It automaticly detects windows.
