I have just signed up with Shutterfly and have joined a photography forum there. When posting a message, there is an option to add photos as an attachment to your post, but 90% of the members put the photo into the message body itself. I asked PC users there how they were doing it and they said they upload their photos to sites such as photobucket and flickr and then click on the full size image and paste it in forum message - and it works. So I figured it was a Mac issue but then someone on the forum with a Mac says that she does the same thing. She said that she uploads to flickr. Highlights the photo, Copies it, then pastes it into the message body and it works for her.
I have looked and Shutterfly does not seem to support HMTL or BB coding.
I have tried the copy and paste myself from photobucket and flickr and although I can see the photos when I click on my forum message, the other users are getting the red X.
Can anyone here help me out? I am running leopard and safari and all my updates are current.
