copying CD with an audio and data um... thing.

boi

official breaker of macs.
when i put the cd in, two cds pop up on my desktop. the data on the cd comes up as one cd, and the audio on the cd comes up as another cd.
how can i successfully copy the cd when OS X thinks it's two cds?

Not sure but can't you use Disk Copy to image the device, instead of the volumes, (File -> New -> Image from Device) and then burn the image? (File -> Burn Image)

i've got toast. it says "only the first session will be copied".
disc copy won't read the image... i/o error 5.
thanks for the help so far, keep it comin'!

Using Toast you burn two sessions onto the CD. The Music one first, burnt as Audio, then you set up another burn as HFS+ or (for cross platform compatability) a hybrid disc (mac and PC) and burn it as a second partition to the disc. NOTE: you MUST burn the audio on the first partition otherwise CD players can't read it.

Some versions of Toast actually offer an enhanced CD option (which is what these CD's are referred to as) in the 'Other' menu, effectively doing this for you.
