Right. I'm sure this topic has been done over well and proper so forgive me if I'm just posting more of the same.
My boss (as do I) uses Mac OS X 10.2.5 and has a hell of a time copying files on a Win2K server; Here's what happens.
If he copies a file to the server then everything is fine.
If he copies from the server, again everything is fine.
If he tries to duplicate a file that is on the server the Finder goes into a spinning rainbow cursor fit that it never recovers from (I left it over a 4 day weekend recently, no joy)
It doesn't matter if he's connected via SMB or AFP
I've heard of the corrupt file problems people have been having but this seems different.
Typically, I've never had this problem...
