Copying files to a Windows Server

I have 9 iMAC's in our company that are copying files and folders to and from a Windows Server. My users are stating that the creation date and modify dates are being changed to todays date and that they did not have this problem in the past. Since they are our design departmen the creation dates are very important to them. To me it makes sense that the dates are changing since they are copying files to their iMAC then back to the server.

Was wodnering if anyone else has run into this or not.
