Core Duo...

A REALLY technical question for Carolyn.

Hello Carolyn!!

Hope you are well and happy.

We are! I've got a Core Duo 20" and my daughter is getting her G5 20" tomorrow!!(They even threw in a "free" copy of Office for Mac!!)

My question :
The "Sound check" facility in iTunes doesn't reall work that well - I've burnt CDs and the volume levels are all over the place.
Is there some downloadable little tool I can use to help me out?

(I'm using the latest iTunes, OS10.4.4)

Cheers....Sandy (the bloke) !!! :)

Check that out.

"iVolume allows you to level the volume of iTunes songs so they are all equal. It supposively works by using an algorithm based on the percieved volume of human ears, resulting in better volume control and the built-in iTunes "Sound Check" feature."

I came across it the other day while browsing around on MacUpdate. I thought it was interesting, because it does not edit the files. It simply adjusts the volume sliders, leaving the files alone, so you can get the original volumes back later, manually, if you want.
