Core Image Question

I have a very simple question.

Does Core Image help Photoshop or any of Adobe's programs?

What programs actually utilize or going to utilize core image?

No, not yet. I expect Adobe will at some point update Photoshop to to use Core Image's filters. Time will tell.

I haven't used them, but LiveQuartz Image Editor (free) and iMaginator ($49) give you access to all the Core Image stuff.

Aside from those, I'm not aware of any. Has Apple even updated iMovie/Final Cut yet?
