hmm.. I installed Reason demo and it killed itself, every other app, and the computer... it took core audio with it... I can't hear anything, the volume keys won't work, nothing! ack!!

Errm.

The only info you have on it is that it kills every app in sight, crashes the computer, permananently farks up the sound, and you're raring to install it? Man, you almost deserve that someone should tell you, just to teach you a lesson...

It's a time limited beta demo... not the beta test. It's floating around right now, and it's not that impressive. Very limited in terms of import/export functions... and you MUST restart after installing.

After you do restard, it's still not that impressive. Performance is mediocre (but it works), as long as you don't care about import/export/midi functions (and who uses those, right? *COUGH*)

Nothing's out just yet that's really worthwhile for production.
