Crazy Monitors Need Help

I just purchased a G5 Quad Pro and I use to do video editing with final cut pro. I'm using two 22" Mitusbishi monitors. When I originally was using it. I had only one monitor and obviously it was in front of me. Now when I added the 2nd monitor it was to the left of the original monitor. All my icons and my dock were on the right monitor that I face which was great. The problem I experience constantly is that whenever I boot up my system now all my icons and dock are on the left monitor. I constantly experience this and I switch the cables in order to get this corrected as it originally was. Is there a fix for this or is this the computer default. Is there any way to have my icons and dock appear on the right monitor instead of the left. Any help would be appreciated.
 
You can use the Arrangement panel under the Display Systems Preferences. Just drag the little white apple menu to the right monitor. That will make the right monitor the main monitor.
