Creating An Edrive

I have just upgraded my computer to Mac OSX Version 10.4.2, and so needed to update my TechTool Pro 4.0.2 to TechTool Pro 4.0.6. Unfortunately, I used the online updater, so the only Start Up CD is the 4.0.2, and my system 10.4.2 won't start up using this CD. The computer just freezes during startup.

I am trying to create an eDrive on the new system so I won't need a Start Up CD, but can't create one with out a start up cd.

Any suggestions?
