Crop images with automator

Hi,
I'm not very familiar with automator, but I think it's maybe the right application for my task.

I have about two thousand product images for a e-shop. The size is not the same on all of them, but mostly they are 166x220 px. As I'm migrating to a new e-shop system (Magento) I need to make all the images square, so that the image will fit in the image window.

So what I have to do is to make them square by making them 266x266 px. The background of the execs space can be white.

I did not find a tutorial for what I need, or maybe I did not understand it. So I'm looking here for some help :)

Aouch, I see now that in the new e-shop the images is decided into many catalogs under /products

Will a droplet from photoshop manage to run in all of the catalogs?

Yep, Photoshop Actions should have a checkbox option for "include images in subfolders" or something to that effect...

Not sure if Droplets and Actions are similar in that regard, though, or if there's any difference at all...
