I ripped a cd to my powerbook g4 a couple days ago, and strangely one of the mp3's in particular would not transfer to my ipod. Infact every time a try i would get a error -36 and itunes would crash, then when i went to restart the computer it would not shutdown, so i had to force shutit down. When i logged back in all my mp3's were back to their labeled state as they were like 3 months ago (before about a month of tedious itunes labeling and categorizing). I have since sacrificed nearly 10gb of music and just recovered the mp3's from my ipod. Any ideas what could have caused this disaster and how to avoid it?
