I had a thought today which I'd like to follow through. I use an iBook G4 running tiger both as a desktop replacement and a portable. When it's plugged in, I use speakers and otherwise headphones. The speakers though are so positioned that they require some tweaking of the audio balance for good sound, naturally headphones don't require this. I'd like thus to know whether I can get OS X to automatically change the balance on plugging in or unplugging. Any ideas?
