Customize Finder View to Show Image Resolution

is it possible to customize Finders preferences to display the resolution of an image (72ppi,300ppi, etc etc)? Finders preferences allow you to choose "Show item info", which will only display the dimensions in pixels. If this view could be customized to display image resolution, and even image color space and embedded profile info, this would be awesome! not to mention, bridge wouldn't hog all of memory anylonger.
