:D My iBook is back! need help for restoring...

My iBook is returned yesterday from Apple support, for a logic board failure... they have installed on it 10.2.1, but here I have Panther installation CD, so I want to install it... which is the best solution for this? is better that I initialize the drive, and then boot from the CD and go through the installation, or can I just upgrade?

If there is nothing on the laptop right now that you need, I recommend doing a new install.

DO NOT UPGRADE! Make a fresh install as diablo said. This is definitely the best way and avoids some weird errors in the future.

Yep, if there's no data on it you need: Swipe that drive before installing. Always better to start with a clean slate. Well, in these cases at least. ;-)

Can I ask what the errors are like, if you did upgrade?
