me too. it's 5:45am pst and i been up since like 2-2:30pm pst yesterday sunday. but it's not cus of macworld. not sure if i wanna go to sleep and get maybe 2 hrs then wake up and go to bed after macworld speech or just stay up then go to bed after speech. if good enough money on tv i would stay up i guess. if not i might just lay down and rest. set my alarm. is set already, but anyway.
hope we are going to be blown away, but i doubt it. here's what will blow me away.
G5 and awesome specs. eg 1ghz-1.6ghz and duals all with DDR and spuer drive in all macs shipping.
new G4/G5 case as current one is 2 years old and not so hot anymore. more expansion bays like pc cases have. how they have 4 or more external drive bays like the 5:25 inch bays.
os x on pc's, but not gonna happen.
10.2 announced to be released before first week of march and features- faster then 10.1. network drivers for epson printers, Stylus C80 etc. faster win resize, boot and reboot etc. easier built in pc networking like dave/sharity. get rid of quicktimie problems on a lot of macs. how when you play movies and try to move the window or access file menues etc it is un responsive. other things.
LCD mac monitor 18" for $999 or less and good that you won't have to worry about dead pixels anymore cus when you see them they are big and you can even touch feel them. and good so fast moving objects don't have the current problem they do on lcd's. and ability to adjust monitor res so smaller ones or bigger are possible without blurriness and as good as image it can do in all res etc.
something to get VPC to run FAST, like P3/500 or better.
cheaper cost for ipod even though i won't buy one cus i am not mobile, don't jog, ride bike, take bus etc. don't need it yet. nice for car though i spose. maybe.
that's about the only thing i can think of that will blow me away.
over at mosr the images of the flat panel imac suck. don't look good i think. iwalk thing sounds dumb for me cus i got no interest what so ever in portable hand helds etc.
we need the redbox, pc running transeparent in os x, but p3/500 or faster min speed on all macs dual cpu macs and later. well not 500mhz windows speed on a dual 450, but close.
i just am not expecting to be blown away at all, not even close. if i am then awesome!!! but i doubt it.
But boy do I need sleep.
