I would like to know how to get Dansguardian running properly. I have installed the .dmg of Dansguardian and Squid, and I have opened up ports 3128 and 8080 as described on some websites that I have check, but it seems that ALL pages are being blocked. I don't know how to adjust a program without a GUI. Also, I do have Content Barrier installed at the present time. I am not involved in computers by trade. I am a grocer. I have purchased Safe eyes as well as Content Barrier. Both are not exactly what I wanted for my family to filter web content. I really don't want to spend more money on If2k. Please help.
