Darwin on a Compaq Presario

Da'iMacDaddy

Unix Newb.
OK well I was just wondering if there was any way to get Darwin to work on a Compaq Presario.
It's kinda old. I was wondering if it would be hard to find drivers and stuff, what windows system I could use and if I would be better off with Red Hat 7.0? Well any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx in advanced

I have the bsdmall.com Darwin 1.4.1 CDROM
in front of me and according to that at least,
it requires an Intel 440BX motherboard.

I think that if you want to futz around and
attempt to get it to work, experiment, etc,
you can give Darwin a try.

If you want to put a workable Unix-like
system together, go down the Linux or
xxxxxBSD route.
