It's still in very very alpha stages. Basic programs (Minesweeper and the like) seem to work OK, but apart from that, they haven't had much success.
Mind you, a program like DarWine can only ever run Windows apps that don't require services unique to Windows (like .NET, DirectX or ActiveX).
There are some rumblings that OS 10.5 Leopard will include services much like DarWine to run Windows apps natively. But that sort of discussion belongs in the Rumors forum.
