Date and time problem on 10.2.8

Ok, so here's my problem. I'm at my grandmother's house and she has an eMac running OS 10.2.8. I can generally fix any problems she has but here's one that's stumped me.

The Date & Time display and internal Date code seems to be messed up. Right now, if i click on the time menu in the upper right corner, it says the following:
"Saturday, SaOctober Feb 18, 1520032003"

The generaly problem is that the Sa Feb and 152003 part is embedded in the date. Generally, it would say:
"[Today's date] Sa[this month] Feb [today's number], 15[year]2003."

Does anyone know how to fix this problem or what's going on with it?

Thanks.

Hmmm, check your international settings. You can get that through the date and time, click International Settings. See what the settings under date are.

Dude, Urbansory, thanks. That fixed it right away. Do you by any chance know what caused it or why the international setting "custom" would mess it up? Thanks.

Maybe a Menu extra or haxie messed upped the preferences.
