Date and time slow , sometimes freeze

if i click on date and time my mac always ALWAYS slows down in that window, if i click on it again it freeezes and has to be forced quit. i dont know why, i havnt tried nothing yet ,its not that big of a deal but i still want to know.

yes I think you are having the same issues as me. I have had this problem for at least 2-3 months now and no update has fixed it I also find that sometimes when replyingto an email in Apple Mail.app it hangs for a long time.

In any event, the only workaround I have found is to get into Date and Time (wait at least 1min or so, it will load eventually), then uncheck the "Set date & time automatically" box -- this is what is causing the delays.

Let me know if tis fixes it -- I'm interested t know if tis is a widespread problem or not.

Not seeing the problem here... what happens if you change the timeserver to Apple Europe or Asia? Or pick a different timeserver, for example type in something like:

0.pool.ntp.org
