Dead iMac G5, trying to salvage parts

Hi,
Sadly, the logic board on my iMac G5 (17' ALS) failed a couple days ago. I was able to save the hard drive, the RAM and the disk drive from it. I bought a nice enclosure case for the hard drive and I am selling the RAM. Now, I have been looking around for an enclosure for the disk drive but I want to make sure I am buying the right thing. Do you know exactly what I need to buy in order to use this disk drive? The model number of the disk drive is: CW-8124-C and there are some other important looking numbers on it: Combo 8124A and 678-0508A and it says that it was manufactured June 2005. Thanks for answering my question,
Sam

Any 3.5" Serial-ATA enclosure should do fine.

The OP already has an enclosure for his hard drive, he is referring to another enclosure for his optical (combo) drive. Look at original post you will see combo. In that case its an ATA connection but its very Apple proprietary, so I think you might be out of luck as far as using the optical drive as an enclosed external.

Oops, sorry about that man, tend to stumble over things sometimes. Oh, djackmac, the CD ROM drive is one of those crazy all in one Apple connectors? I know there are normal CD ROM drive enclosures, but unfortunately not those special ones. However, a combo drive really isn't worth that much these days. I'm sure you could get a new superdrive for just twice as much as buying an enclosure.
