Dead intel iMac (early 2006)

We have an iMac, considered an early 2006 model, it has an intel processor, 20 inch screen.

It was running fine. Then a child, who is always experimenting with computers pulled the power cord and immediately plugged it back in to see if it would restart itself. It did not. In fact it will do nothing now. It is quite dead. Dead, Dead. A brick.

I did a Power Management Unit (PMU) reset. I removed and replaced the RAM. I checked the power to the iMac, the cords, the plugs. I took it apart and checked the PSU to see if power was getting to it. There is power to the PSU. I don't know how to check for proper power output. It does show .44 to .46 volts out, but I don't know if this is normal without a load on it.

That's about all I know to do without just starting to replace parts - which can be expensive w/o a donor iMac.

If it's still under warranty (at this point, hopefully AppleCare), take it into Apple and see if they will replace it.
