I know, this was discussed several times already, but I've got some questions.
I have a 400 TiBook bought in July last year. It developed like 10 dead pixels. I just called an Apple-Service Center nearby (Germany) and they told me more, when there are more than 4 dead, I get the display replaced. It's going to be sent to Holland.
I was wondering, since I read somewhere that they don't exchange the display, since this is too tricky (or so) but give you a new TiBook.
Has anyone already done this, maybe here in Europe, especially Germany? I have to make a backup anyway, but if they give me a new on I'd like to mirror my whole HD.
just curious, maybe I get a 550 with combo?
