Default Menu Extra removal

My laptop came with the menu extra for blue tooth enabled, but i dont have anything that can use blue tooth, so i want to disable it. I was wondering if removing its line in the com.apple.systemuiserver.ooutline would make it so that it doesn't load. And also is it the way that i would add one to be loaded??

hold command and drag out any unwanted menu items. you can also rearrange the menu items with the command key.

your basic menu items are stored at system/library/coreservices/menu extras. just double click one to put it in the menu bar.
