Well this is complicated but can be easy with CUPS (that is already installed). Here are the steps:
1. Go to your CUPS site at http://127.0.0.1:631/ and click on printers.
2. In the Printers tab there are buttons to delete things.
Maybe you can try out the trail version on Print Therapy (for 10.5.x) or Printer Setup Repair (for 10.4.x). This program has a 7 day try before buy to fix your printing system. It has saved my butt more then once and it might help you. Good Luck.
