Yup, just hold down the function ("fn") button and press delete. Forward delete!

Also, as a free tip I'd suggest you try out uControl. It's free and it's awesome on Mac laptops. You can get it from http://gnufoo.org/ucontrol/ It will let you use your trackpad as a scroll wheel, swap modifier keys around if you want (for example, change the lower enter key into a ctrl key for easier ctrl-clicking), turn shift+delete into forward delete and other cool stuff. Great little laptop utility.

the new powerbook is totally awesome. handles great and looks amazing. ive been doing grafix on it which are quite large and it doesnt even flinch. i also bought office for osx with it.
