Back in OS 9, I found a nifty product called "A Better Finder" that would allow adding, renaming, deleting and moving files from within an application. For example, if you were about to save a file and found an older one in the same location that you wanted to delete, you could do it from the Open, Save or Save As window. "A Better Finder Rename" is still around and improved but it does not offer these features any longer and seems to make no reference to the old version. Anybody know if there is something like that out there that will work with OSX Tiger? I have searched and found nothing. A post mentioned something called Pathfinder, but I haven't looked into that yet.
