i just noticed this feature! how long has it been around?
if you don't know what i'm talking about, go to a playlist, select some songs in that playlist and press option-delete. a dialogue pops up that asks you if you want to remove the mp3 from your entire library! woweee! i wish i knew about this earlier. i hated having to write down the songs i wanted to delete, then going back to the playlist, then searching for them and deleting them that way.
anyway, this might be old and tired and has been around since itunes 1, but it's new to me!
