Deleted Icons..how to restore??

Hi,

I was cleaning up my Mac's hardisk, howvere I deleted the 'Document', 'Music', 'Movies', 'Pictures' icons and now i can not get into those folders.

Does anybody know how to restore them? Can you do a system restore on a Mac like you can on Windows XP?

Exactly how did you delete them?
Did you tash the folders with the icons, of from Get Info?
 
Yeah i trashed the folders, can you do a system restore?

Also, some programs dont work because of it, Virtual PC does not resognise any installed PC's as the list was in documents.

Any ideas?

Yes, you can restore the system. Boot from the OS CD that came with your machine. Follow the instructions for Archive and Install.
You won't get anything back that you've added to the folders.
 
OK done...

However it did not put those folders back, and i can still not get into them..any ideas?
