Deleting extra swapfiles

Hi all, a while ago I was messing about trying to move my swapfile to it's own partition. I've done it now but now I also have two other swapfiles on volumes called "swap" and "swp1". I've even found a file called "swap0" and that's not even in the right place! Is it okay to delete these files? I'm using MacOS 10.2.4. Thanks.

my understanding, and someone corect me if i'm wrong, is that the worst that could happen is for the swap file to revert back to the boot drive or partition. i've been swapping mine on my 40gb external for sometime and i've only had to reset it to the external once. it seems to keep this pref thru updates and crashes and all. of course i also use one of the handy apps for doing this - either swap cop or swapswapvm. it's quick and painless and works.

Oh, er... following on from my "Deleting extra swapfiles" post, what about those 'unixy' volumes (i.e. I can only see them from the terminal and now that I have KDE I can see them in it's file manager) that were created when I made multiple swapfiles? Is it okay to delete those and how do I do it?
Thanks.
