Deleting Items in X

I have about 5000 files in my trash that i can't delete because of one folder/file. I dont have the "privilages". How do i override this?

Most likely that file/folder is locked. Try using the Show Info window to unlock it. If that doesn't work, you can try this Terminal command:
sudo chflags -R nouchg /[path-to-file/folder]
Or boot up in OS 9 and get rid of it the "old-fashioned" way.
