I've got a Beige G3 with a Radeon that runs 10.1.1 with no problems at all. I was just using TV-OUT, and went to switch back resolution to my usual 1024X768 but I'm half asleep and I dragged all the way down to something like 1900X1600 at some high refresh rate. My AppleVision 750 didn't like that, and has now turned black.
What I need to know is where is the file that keeps this info, so I can delete it, (from 9.2.1) and all will be good.
I tried X/System/Library/PreferencePanes/Displays.prefPane
that did nothing when removed.
(and interestingly, another one was NOT created after I booted.)
