Can anyone please urgently help with any suggestions....
All my desktop icons have vanished from the icon.
Finder has 3 windows open in the dock but neither of them, when clicked nor the main Finder icon will start Finder and allow it to be used in any way. The main menu on top bar wont come up either.
I have tried Force Quitting but it wont quite or close.
All other applications seem to be working fine and I can access System preferences etc. via the APPLE icon when other applications are run.
I have re-started and have the same problem.
Running 10.5.8
