Desktop Pictures???

Is there a way change whether or not OSX tiles or resizes images I set to the desktop? I can't seem to figure out what makes it choose...

Forgive if there's already a thread on this - i searched but couldn't find any!

Not with what Apple gives you. But you can if you get TinkerTool (freeware). You can download it from www.versiontracker.com .
