DHCP Question?

I am runnning an office network which is connected to each other and the internet through a Linksys 4-Port Wireless Router which is already DHCP-enabled.

Would it be better to disable the Linksys DHCP and enable DHCP through Server Admin DHCP?

If I use Linksys DHCP how do I setup the DNS and LDAP info listed in Server Admin's DHCP settinegs?

Really your call. I've used Mac OS X DHCP and the built-in DHCP server in Linksys products at different points. Depends on your familiarity with administrating the services and how many clients you have, as well as what level of control you desire.

Well, if your learning and this is just your controlled environment, go nuts! :)

The best way to learn is to take these things apart, test them out with different configurations and see where it leaves you. Be prepared to hit some dead ends or possibly even re-install, but you'll learn the most that way.

On my router, at a quick look, I didn't see where I could enable vend LDAP with it, but DNS is easy, as you can just set the static DNS server IP in the administrative GUI of the router to point to your Mac OS X DNS server. You may want to look at the open source firmwares available for the Linksys products, since they'll offer you items like static IP settings at the router itself. Alternatively, you could just manually assign the machines that need the static IP in the OS X GUI, such as your servers and be sure that they all point to your DNS server for lookup.

I downloaded and printed Apple's network services book and it talks about gate way assistant. I'm going to try that out.
