Yes. 
Fink has a binary in their current-unstable repositories if you don't feel like compiling it yourself. I also suggest if you are doing this for a local LAN that you also setup a DNS server to accept updates from the DHCP server. That way you can make yourself lazy and just connect hostnames (ie. your computer's hostname would resolve to a DNS name). For that you would need to install BIND9 as well.
