I would like to know how to change the language of the dictionary cause all my OS is in french so i found that strange to have a English/American dictionary. I have taken a look at "preferences" and nothing about the language.
In the application you want the spellcheck to work in the other language, Edit > spelling > select the dictionary, or ctrl-click > spelling > select the dictionary.
