Didgitalize analogue video

Hi,

I'm about to retire my Sony Handycam Video8 camcorder and the question arises about converting the analogue video8 tapes into digital. What's the best/cheapest/easiest way to do this? I've got an iMac with firewire and USB as the target for the digital videos.

A little expensive way (with a way to get TV also) is look at some devices at Elgato. I have the EyeTV 200 and use the analog RCA ports to record from VCRs, etc.
