Differences in Hardware

What are the different implications of using OSX on different machines, the reason I ask that on one of my machines (G4 DP500) OSX is rock solid in everything I do but on my other machine (G3 266) it's always falling over. Both have seperate hard disks for OSX and OS9 and the only difference (apart from the obvious) is that I had the Public Beta on the G3.

Although you'd expect performance to be different, you sure wouldn't expect your 266 to keep dying--or falling over as you put it.

Maybe you installed Brickhouse the firewall editor on the wrong side of your hard drive, and it's causing your computer to be off-balance. Try installing Docking Maneuvers to see if that will proactively steady it. All that Aqua water can cause some serious waves.
