difficult airport question

I have an iMac G4 connected to the internet via a Snow Airport - I have been using this connection nearly trouble free for over 1 year. However in this time I have NEVER been able to get my Aiport Admin Utility to find my airport base station so I may configure it!! Everytime the Admin Utility scans to find an airport it comes up empty handed. When I hit the other button and type in the IP addresss or even the router addresss with the passoword 'public' it says that it is unable to configure the base station. Please help!!!

Go to Apple's Knowledge Base and find out how to completely reset the Base station. Then you SHOULD be able to configure it with your AirPort enabled iMac. I had some trouble once with my Graphite BaseStation and didn't find the needed info in the manual...
