Difficulty reconnecting to Windows shares

I recently swapped out a Win2K server for Win2K3. Recreated the mac shares but now 1 of my 3 Mac OSX users cannot reconnect to the share. The connection between the macs and the windows server is strictly tcp/ip. No appletalk running. The error message seems likes it a username/pwd issue. The other 2 users don't seem to be having the problem although one of them did have to use smb://x.x.x.x (ip address of server) when trying to reconnect the share. Any ideas??

You could check for invalid keys in /Applications/Utilities/Keychain Manager which could be causing password issues. Then you could check that they are all running the same SMB settings in Applications/Utilities/Direcotry Access.
